Underwriting Oversight Analyst to c£50,000

This leading managing agent has an outstanding market reputation and is continuing to grow. As a result of this they are looking for an experienced Underwriting Oversight Analyst to join their London team. An understanding of the Lloyd’s Oversight Framework and Lloyd’s Minimum Standards combined with a working knowledge of the structure and content of the various types of Underwriting Contracts used in the Lloyd’s Market are essential .

Support will be provided for ACII study

Duties :

In conjunction with the Control Framework Manager, implement, manage and report upon the underwriting compliance and control framework principles in line with the Lloyd’s Oversight Framework.

Provide management and oversight on underwriting compliance issues, ensuring that measuring, monitoring and reporting on underwriting compliance activities to high operational standards are achieved.

Provide assistance on the control framework activities ensuring that all underwriting control documents are current and reflect Lloyd’s oversight principles.

Ensure that appropriate and robust systems and controls are in place to ensure that they achieve the Lloyd’s oversight principles.

To assist with the management and execution of specified controls/action plans relating to risks, working closely with Risk Owners and the Risk Management team.

To assist in the Controls Framework Manager as regards the underwriting compliance and control framework workstreams.
