An Investment and Wealth management company in W1, London are looking for a proactive and highly organised Graduate Business Assistant to support the Asset Management leadership team. You would to the Head of Investment – Global Equities

This opportunity, is well suited to someone early in their career who is looking for genuine exposure to a fast-paced investment environment.
Alongside core diary, travel and administrative support, this role has a project-based dimension beyond administrative support.

Working closely with the leadership team, you will work on improvement and efficiency initiatives — from streamlining recurring processes to supporting internal projects — with scope for this to grow as you prove yourself.
Key Responsibilities
 Provide proactive, detail-oriented administrative and business support to the asset management leadership team, including – but not limited to – complex calendar management, travel coordination, meeting scheduling, preparation of itineraries and agendas, and expense processing.
 Provide ad hoc administrative and diary support to other senior members of the Asset Management team as required
 Prepare and organise materials for meetings, including agendas, papers and follow-up actions
 Take on defined improvement projects within the department, working with the leadership to identify where support would add most value (for example, streamlining recurring meeting processes or maintaining shared trackers)
 Build effective working relationships across the team and wider business to understand priorities and anticipate support needs

 We are looking for someone who is intellectually curious, sharp, and keen to build a career in this space, someone who treats the administrative core of this role as a platform to prove themselves, not a ceiling. Prior experience in asset management is not required; what matters is judgement, initiative, and appetite to take on more.

 Flexible and adaptable, with a track record of solving problems pragmatically and finding workable solutions under pressure
Technical capability
 Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
 Comfortable managing complex diaries and travel arrangements
 Quick to learn new systems and tools, such as expense management and travel booking platforms
 Embraces AI and emerging technologies, using them thoughtfully augment the pace and quality of outputs and while exercising sound judgement and maintaining ultimate ownership of the output.
