HR Consultant. to c£35,000

Due to continued growth this well-established HR consultancy is looking for an experienced HR Consultant for their City of London office. The main function of the role will be to assist in developing the HR Consultancy service and deliver commercially focused, practical HR solutions to clients of various sizes in a range of sectors.

The successful candidate will have in depth experience of providing HR, Organisational Development and employment law advice within the UK.


To undertake HR audits and reviews at clients premises both for existing clients and new clients in order to determine their current HR risks and liabilities. To support the client on and off site to proactively manage their HR function on a day to day basis

To review, assess and update client documentation including correspondence letters, contractual documentation and policies and procedures.

To support clients on and off site with their HR processes and statutory requirements including but not limited to Grievances, Disciplinary matters, TUPE and Redundancy.

To design, develop and deliver HR and Organisational Development (OD) courses both internally and externally, working together with other members of the HR Consultancy team.

To work with other members of the HR Consultancy team to produce reports for clients as required.

To proactively market the HR service both to existing and new clients by considering all aspects of the service that can be provided and matching this to the opportunities that have been identified.

To be actively involved in the marketing of the HR Consultancy service through various means which includes but is not limited to presentation to internal teams, networking, preparation of mail shots, case studies, development and delivery of seminars or presentations to audiences of differing sizes.

To work with other members of the HR Consultancy team to develop proposals and tender documents as required.

Working closely with other business areas to identify opportunities for collaboration.

The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience of providing a wide range of HR generalist and employment law advice.
