Trainee Learning and Development Administrator. £22,500

Strong communication and organisation skills combined with an A level or graduate education (or equivalent) and some office-based experience are essential for this varied opportunity with this well established but expanding professional services organisation.

This role provides administrative support across the firm’s apprenticeship and graduate programmes, including employees studying for their professional qualification, working closely with the Training & Apprenticeship Coordinator. The role will also assist with the administration of learning and development activities across the firm.

Duties and Responsibilities

Support the Training & Apprenticeship Coordinator with the administration of the firms learning and development activities.

Add Institute key dates to calendars and the HR Team schedule.

Ensure students are entered for their exams, check, and announce results.

Check invoices for professional qualifications for approval by the Senior HR Managers.

Ensure the HR System is kept up to date exam progress and course bookings for all students.

Book students on to courses and circulate study plans to students, managers, and team administrators.

Follow up with students who are marked as absent.

Assist with updating the student planners.

Regularly update the Skills tracker and those students are booked onto the correct dates.

Arrange students’ mock exams. Review and save all mock exam results and circulate to students and


Assist with organising the Student Forum and attending to take minutes.

Manage all aspects of L&D programmes and training courses ensuring:

Training rooms are set up and equipment and technology resources are available, and refreshments ordered.

Numbers confirmed and invitation lists are correct.

Reminder e-mails and joining instructions sent to delegates.

Feedback forms are distributed and collected.

Collate and update learning records, evaluations, and costs.

Book external courses subject to Team Leader approval.
