Marketing Assistant. To £26,000

This well established but expanding business advisors is continuing to grow it’s marketing function. As a result of this they are looking for an experienced marketing assistant for their City of London office. 12 month of marketing exposure within a corporate environment is essential.

As a key member of the Marketing team the Marketing Assistant will help support, develop and deliver integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns. They will assist the Marketing team in pro-actively implementing and coordinating marketing activities for the firm and ensure the effective and efficient operation of marketing.


Design and update templates, create best practice examples of documents (across various formats) and manage adhoc requests for pitch document design, layout and print.

Assist with maintenance of the firm’s website, ensure that content is kept up to date, including event information, and use analytics to understand traffic and popularity of web pages.

Manage the Client and Staff stories development on the firm’s website - develop a story pipeline, create written, video and social content.

Create compelling social media posts (text/graphics), be able to track effectiveness and create best practice guidelines.

Work with marketing team members, supporting campaigns and projects from beginning to end as requested, evaluating the effectiveness of any marketing activity.

Take shared responsibility for the planning, organisation and execution of a number of the firm’s corporate entertaining, events, seminars and conferences - including venue searching, mailings, collateral preparation, RSVP collation, feedback and post-event analysis.

Carry out, or assist in carrying out, research as and when required. Be able to digest, analyse and present research material clearly and concisely.

Take responsibility for the management of firm-wide internal events, ensuring key messages and activities are communicated to the relevant stakeholders in an appropriate manner.

Assist in the development of efficient marketing processes, ensuring they are documented.

Provide analysis of clients and contacts from databases as required.

Support marketing team members during meetings, taking minutes and actions. Ensure that actions are completed within agreed deadlines.
