IT Business Analyst (SAP SME)

We are looking for a Business Analyst to work within IT Team for a 6 month project. SAP Fico and/or C2C experience is essential.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Formal certification in business analysis practice preferred
• 1-2+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst preferred
• Experience of successfully deploying business analysis tools/techniques to enable business change
• Experience of working with complex integrated systems, using creative and strategic thinking to deliver exceptional results
• Engagement, communication and stakeholder management skills, including excellent presentation and influencing skills
• Experience of virtual collaboration to lead, shape and develop innovative solutions
• Experience of working with and managing third party suppliers/vendors
• Bachelor’s Degree required

Experience of workingin in an agile development team defining the features and functionality on the platform as well as testing compliance to specifications.

The role of a Business Analyst is to be responsible for the translation of user requirements into detailed feature specifications including test criteria.

The BA will work closely with development and testing to ensure requirements are understood and delivered to customer expectation.

Similarly, the BA will work with the Product Owner breaking down user stories and verifying this with developers.

Work in both a waterfall and agile methodology and be part of the team that drives for agile delivery

Key Responsibilities -

Requirements gathering and analysis.

Reviewing, creating, and/or documenting business and technical process flows. -

Participate or conduct requirements validation/discovery workshops with the customer. -

Break down roadmap items into deliverable user stories -

Define test criteria for user stories (ideally using an agile methodology like Gherkin / Cucumber or similar) -

Work on LOFI and HIFI UI wire framing tools to help with user stories. (ideal be familiar with tools like balsamiq and inVision. -

Create, write, and validate functional specifications based on business related requirements and the application's capabilities. -
